Cake Pops 2 - Christmas Trees.

These are my second batch of cake pops from the book by the lovely Bakerella.
I made the pumpkin ones at Halloween and these are in this post.

The Christmas tree ones came out really well.  I was so pleased with them.

  1. They are brilliant I am very jealous of your decorating skills.

  2. Kath - I followed Bakerella's instructions in the book completely. I can do copying when it's just sticking things on but I'm still too scared to try icing sugar cookies!

  4. Thanks Katie. We ate them all at a Christmas party yesterday but I could do a few more to put in with pressies.

  5. These are brilliant, I'm not great at cake pops, I've made a few basic ones but these are really really good. Perfect. x

  6. these look stunning... do you need a lot of patience to make them... I have very little and if it looks like i'm going wrong I tend to get the hump and move on!

  7. They look superb! I've bought Bakerella's book for my sister for Christmas, I may now have to steal it off her!

  8. Dom - they actually work fairly well. They are a bit of a faff but if you wanted to try them, I would make it an evening when you had plenty of time, put some music on and have a drink. I'm quite a stressy person but found them easier than I was expecting.

Hanna - What a brilliant Christmas present - I'm sure she'll love it. And you should certainly borrow it.

  10. Wow, they are fantastic. I'd love to have a go at making them and would be surprised if they ever turned out as wonderful as yours, but unfortuantely I won't be able to have a go as I would need to borrow some little ones to consume them. I can't see D and me munching on them :( For not, I will just keep coming on by here and admiring your wonderful creative and artistic creations.
